My Story
My childhood experiences influenced my journey toward the health, nutrition, and wellness realm.
I was born in the 1960’s with no cell phones or internet connection, but lots of fresh air and eating nutrient-dense whole foods. I was exposed to healthy cooking, influenced by a brilliant, intelligent, and beautiful mother that by the time I reached the age of 17, I had a paramount perspective and a healthy zest for wellness.
In my 30s and early 40s I was facing with a lot of back pain, allergies and sinus infections not knowing at the time that I had the answers at my fingertips to correct the “inflammation”. I decided to shift my focus and begin to look for answers. I committed myself to going back to my early years of eating clean whole foods and to relearning as much as I could about proper nurturing foods, seeing food as medicine, more in tuned with my body, habit behavioral change and the psychology behind prioritizing health and wellness.
I started learning that the body is programmed for health and that everything that is necessary for healing is already present inside your body. I learned the importance of a healthy lifestyle: having a healthy back requires daily exercise, quality nutrition, balancing stress and avoiding toxins.
